I'd like to start a discussion on something I've always been curious about.

The fundamental question is: How should you and your spouse handle it when there are nude scenes in movies or TV series? I mean, in the movie "Titanic" starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, she was completely naked and her bare breasts were exposed several times. Or in "Love Actually", there were several scenes showing different women's breasts. And in "Orange Is the New Black", there are often nude women and breast scenes in almost every episode.

Would you turn it off in protest?

Would you continue watching while feeling secretly guilty or angry?

Will you keep watching and not care, because this is "just a performance"?

These are almost the basic reactions that most people would have. My wife usually gets angry and says that it annoys her that her husband looks at other women's breasts. Then she adds that she's also angry that they only show breasts. "Why don't they ever show male nudity? Why don't they show penises? Why do they show so many breasts in all these works?" (She goes on to say that she doesn't want to see other people's penises, but it's because of the double standard.)

But her cousin (she told us about "Orange is the New Black", but didn't mention there were nude scenes. We were all shocked when we watched the first episode, hahaha!) said her husband didn't mind at all when he saw that. They also watch "Orange is the New Black" and other movies with nude scenes. They also watch "Game of Thrones", I heard there are many nude scenes in it, although I haven't watched those episodes. But she and her husband said it was "just a show", they didn't think much of it. It was just a show, and after watching it, they each went on to watch other shows. Neither of them minded.

At the same time, we do really like the movie "Love Actually", and we watch it every Christmas for several years. I think we just learned not to look at those scenes. But I know my wife still gets upset when I look at other women's breasts. However, since we are already very familiar with it, she doesn't care as much now. But if it's a new movie or TV series, she usually feels uneasy.

So I'd like to hear your opinions. As I said, would you watch these movies and TV shows? Do you think it's right or wrong to watch them? (Of course, I mean when it's just you and your spouse - the kids are all asleep. Anyway, if there are kids in the room, I wouldn't watch these.)

Ladies, would you mind if your husband looked at other women's breasts? Would this double standard bother you like it does my wife, because most of the nude scenes in movies are of women, and it's usually their breasts?

Men: Have scenes featuring breasts in movies ever aroused desires, sexual thoughts or inappropriate ideas in you?

Most people: Do you think it's right or wrong to watch such movies and TV series? Should we say, "We are all adults. We know the parts of a woman's body, so it's no big deal?" Or should we say it's inappropriate and we should only look at our wives' breasts?

How do you deal with nude scenes when your favorite movie/TV show has them?
